Hi,
I am not sure where to start - so here goes. I have been asked to create a pie chart on why jobs are shipped late. My table has the following: Wk Ending Job # Reason 05/06/2006 61058301 Vendor-Vendor Delay 06/17/2006 60883301 Vendor-Vendor Delay 09/09/2006 70143301 Purchasing-Delay in Ordering 10/07/2006 60982301 Materials-Requisitioned Late I have a standard list of reasons and want to do a count for each reason and create a pie chart off of the count. Can anyone assist in how to do this? Thank you Havenstar |

pivotchartreport with pivottable report (next) select your data (next) LAYOUT drag reason into the data space (it says "count of reason") drag reason into the row space (you have it both in the row and the data) OK Finish Right click on the graph chart type pie ok to update it, right click on the pivot table (the other sheet that was created) and step back through the Wizard. -- Allllen "Havenstar" wrote: Hi, I am not sure where to start - so here goes. Thank you - I have not used Pivot Tables before, but that was really cool. I
try to do the right click at the end and it won't let me step back through the wizard. Also do the labels always stay. I have "Drop Page Fields Here" on Top and "Drop Series Fields Here" at the Bottom. In the body I have "Reason" that drops down and "Count of Reason' - is that normal and/or can you hide? Thanks Havenstar "Allllen" wrote: data pivottable pivotchartreport with pivottable report (next) select your data (next) LAYOUT drag reason into the data space (it says "count of reason") drag reason into the row space (you have it both in the row and the data) OK Finish Right click on the graph chart type pie ok to update it, right click on the pivot table (the other sheet that was created) and step back through the Wizard. -- Allllen "Havenstar" wrote: Hi, I am not sure where to start - so here goes.
