Default borders

When I use the double-underline or any of the other underline features in
"Borders", the result is a light colored gray that is hard to see when
printed out. How do I darken this?

Default borders

Select the cells with the border and click FORMAT in the menu and select
CELLS. Click the BORDERS tab and select the type of border, line style and
color.
