Default cant save read only file

try to save an excel file to cd. message is read only can't save. file is not
marked read only. whats the deal? Using office xp 2002.Am 83 years and not
blessed with a lot of computereze.

Default cant save read only file

You will need to save the file to your hard drive and then write the file
from hard drive to your CD drive using Windows Media Player or whatever CD
writing software came bundled with your PC.

If you are trying to 'file save as'....you can't
You'll have to save it to disc first THEN copy that saved file to CD via a
CD writing package eg NERO

I know it's a bind but that's the way it is
