Hi,

Select 8 rows where you want to insert new column. Press Control and hit +
(numerical keypad). Pop up will come. Select shift cells right. Say OK

Regards,

Jaleel

Hi,

Instead of using short cut keys, go to Insert - Cells

hi,

shifting cells to right didn't work, i need 7 columns for top 8 rows and
only 5 columns for the rows below that.
