In the toolbar of Excel there is a red flag button - "flag for follow up"
which lets you set reminders to check the spreadsheet at a later date. I'd like to expand on this - rather than just remind the user to look at the whole spreadsheet, I want to get remind them about a specific cell, and, ideally, specific data. I was hoping that by recording the "flag for follow up" in a macro I could see the code it uses and expand on it. However, as soon as I start recording a macro the "flag for follow up" button becomes opaque and no longer click-able... Why can't I record "flag for follow up" as a macro? Is there some VBA code I can use to summon it? |
