Default auto-filter messes up the formulas

My spreadsheet has working formulas (that reference a separate tab in the
spreadsheet) When I filter the data, the formulas are not referencing the
correct cells anymore. It's not always obvious in a big spreadsheet so I've
had to stop using autofilter completely, which is a shame. Why does this
happen?! This is a major flaw in my opinion.

Hi Drew

Can you give some examples of the formula you are using, the data being
referenced on the second tab, and the errors you are seeing. Autofilter
should not be creating these problems for you, but a bit more
information may enable us to help.
