Import External Data
I'm trying to import data from one spreadsheet to another using Data/Import
External Data/New Database Query. Just experimenting with one column of data I can't seem to get it working whatever I try. Invariably the message I get returned from MS Query is "Invalid Bracketing name of 'xls." I get this message whether or not I use the query wizard. I can import data from the web OK - so that suggests something is working. I guess, because it is my first time, I might be missing out on doing something important. Can SKS help out or point me to a url that guides me through (haven't yet found one that gives me the solution). TIA Rob |
