Default can I zap all links in one go?

I have a spreadsheet with many links to other spreadsheets in various
unconnected cells. Is there a quick way to paste-special-value these
links rather than doing it cell by cell (there are other formulas in
between that I want to keep)?

From top menu go to Edit | Links. The pop up window shows a list of all
files you haves linked to. Select each file and click the Break Link button.
This works well if you have only one or a few files linked. However, if
every cell is linked to a different file, it's probably just as much work as
copy | paste special | values for each individual cell.

Thanks Simon, I never thought of looking in the menu !!

I've opened the window, but there's no 'Break links' button. I have
Excel 2000 - is that on a later version?

When I can't find links, I'll use Bill Manville's FindLink program:

There's lots of options in that utility.
