How do you make a chart with two sets of information? One being a area chart
and the other being a line or column chart but each one on the same gridlines/graph. |

Hi,
The simplest way is to create a chart of 1 type, Column for example, based on all the data. Then select a series, right click and pick Chart Type. Depending on the combination the same axis will be used. Cheers Andy playerbigdog wrote: How do you make a chart with two sets of information? So there is no way to take one set of data and make it a Area graph; and then
take a second set of data and make a line graph; while putting both the area and line graph in the same chart and axis? Yes there is a way, as I described.
Create a chart based on both sets of data, can be either line or area. Select one of the series and change it's chart type. This will not work if you are using 3d types.
