Default HOW DO I GET CELL LINES TO NOT PRINT IN AUTOCAD DWG?

I use AutoCad and we copy excel tables into our drawings. When I print my
drawing
the faint cell lines print even when I have the cell lines set to none. If I
print the exact same table to a regular sheet of paper these cell guide lines
do not print. How can I avoid seeing any unwanted cell lines in my autocad
dwg print?

Hi Cadgal,

First, by "I have set cell lines to none" what do you mean - there is no
gridline option called None.
Second, you can turn off the display of gridlines by choosing the command
Tools, Options, View tab, and uncheck the Gridlines option.

I don't use autocad so I'm not sure about this problem. What method of
copying and pasting are you using? Are you copying with the standard Copy
command or using a paste object option or are you using the Edit, Copy
Picture command or the Camera tool?

There are three other things you might try, which I can't test. 1. You
could choose the command File, Page Setup, Sheets tab, and make sure Print
Gridlines is unchecked. 2. You might highlight the range and set the border
color to white, although I really don't like this option. 3. You can choose
Tools, Options, View tab, Grid color and set this to white, again not a
choice I like.

Hope one of these ideas works.

Shane,
You are wonderful, Thankyou. Your first paragraph solution worked.
We use paste special and link the excel doc to the dwg.
I meant to say that in the Format Cells window, border tab, I chose none.
But now it doesn't matter.
