Default Combining multiple separate columns into one Stacked Bar Graph

I'm trying to create a timeline of supreme court justices. The basic graphing
works, but I decided I wanted them color coded by party so there will have to
be multiple series on one Stacked Bar Graph. However whenever I attempt this
the series do not stack properly.

For Example I want Series 2 (Durations of Terms for Party A) stacked on
Series 1 (Years of Inaugurations for Party A.) Then I want Series 4 (Duration
of term for Party B) stacked on of Series 3 (Years of Inaugurations for Party
B.) But when I attempt to graph it either stacks series 1, 2, and 3 together
or botches it some other way. Can anyone help me sort out the stacking?
