I have a surface contour polot and I wanted to change the axis labels, so I
clicked Select Data Source and clicked edit under horizontal axis labels. I proceeded to type in a bunch of labels as ={0,10,20,..}. I noticed that there was an error in one of the labels and tried to edit them. I clicked on edit again and then clicked in the text that was there. The text I needed to fix wasn't visible so I hit the right arrow to move in that direction and XL inserted a cell reference! There appears to be no way to access th faulty text short of erasing the whole string and retyping it. The only solution appears to be to put the thing in a range of cells and referencing that. However, I should be able to edit directly. |
