Default x-axis labelling - how to put it above the axis?

Ive got a bar chart which is mostly negative values, i.e. underneath the
x-axis. However, the x-axis labels are also underneath the axis, so therefore
sitting over the bars. I want to be able to put them above the axis (which is
what Id do if I were drawing it myself) but I cant work out how to do it.
One would have thought it would have been a fairly simple option, but Ive
searched everywhere and cant find it!

I'm using Excel 97 by the way.

Many thanks.

Yes, but 'Set axis labels to Low' is not an option. :(

Thanks anyway.

Follow the instructions, and view the picture at the link Andy provided
earlier:

http://www.andypope.info/tips/tip002.htm

Under Tick Mark Labels, select Low.

The settings are the same in Excel 97.

Found it this morning. I actually want 'high', not 'low'.

Thanks for your help.
