Default Excel OpenCurrentDatabase fails error 7866

Hi, I have problems with an Excel file that uses OpenCurrentDatabase in a VBA
macro... It fails with Visual Basic error 7866

On some pc the same file works fine, on other I have the problem.
When I've tested it I'm sure there was no other users opening the same
database or excel file.
In the past I solved the same problem changing the macro protection to level
"low" (excel and Access) but this time it doesn't work.
We are using Office version 2003 SP2

Thanks
Corrado
