We have a problem with Excel 2003. when trying to open a budget file (7mb)
the computer takes around 10 minutes to open it. i have discovered when the
printer spooler service is turned off the excel workbook opens without error.
this is happening only on one PC in the company all other PC's can access
this workbook with no problems.

i have tried:

reinstalling office (worked but after 1 day the same problem occured)
rebuilding the PC (same as above)
installed a new PC (worked for 3 days and then the error occurred)

if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.
