Default How to avoid a copy of an unprotected archive?

Hi,

I have a worksheet I give for the students, but I don't want they modify.

If I choose Tools - Security - Password to Modify,

they cannot modify the original one, but Excel give them the option to save
with another name and then make changes to this last one.

How can I avoid they make an copy of an unprotected archive?

TIA

You could produce a PDF file from the workbook and give them this -
they will only be able to view the file.

Hope this helps.

Yes, but presumably you want your students to read through your
workbook (but not to alter it or copy it) and then to set up their own
workbook to do the calculations you set them. The suggestion for a PDF
is basically to make it an electronic handout.

Sorry, Pete,

Perhaps I didn't explain it clearly: the students can manipulate and change
the workbook data.
But they should not (1) save these changes or (2) save the archive with
another name.

The Excel password meets the restriction (1) -read only- but not the (2).
And, if the users save the archive with another name, the password, and
also the restriction (1), are lost.

So, how can I avoid they save the password protected archive with another
name?
