Hi, I have been using excel every day for more than 10 years - excel has
always been the same, but i have recently changed company and they use the latest version. I'm pretty handy with shortcuts, macros etc, but the new version has made me look like a COMPLETE IDIOT in my new job. It took nearly 20mins to find out how to print something. In the menu bar, where oh where is the forms menu with macro button, why does ctrl+i no longer insert things. It now takes me twice as long to get things done as i love using short cuts and hate the mouse. Is there a way to restore excel 2003 functionality and menus with the new version as after two weeks, i absolutely cannot deal with the stupid new menu set-up - please let there be a way!!!!!!!!! ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. hi
sorry to hear of you delema. but you are not alone. IF your company allows it, you can add software to display the classic excel menu http://www.addintools.com/english/menuexcel/ i think they want $16US. http://in.geocities.com/shahshaileshs/ this one is free but limited if your company does not allow then it's back to school i guess. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/he...491511033.aspx this is an inter active site showing were all of the commands got moved to. http://www.keyxl.com/aaa33ef/136/Mic...-shortcuts.htm you mentioned keyboard shorcuts. this might help regards FSt1 "Desmond" wrote: Hi, I have been using excel every day for more than 10 years - excel has always been the same, but i have recently changed company and they use the latest version.
