Default How to maximize Excel windows whenever it's opened?

Is there any way to make Excel (and Word) maximize its windows whenever
it's opened? There are many .doc and .xls files (unlimited number) and
I'd like to make them always open in maximized window. Those files are
being usualy opened by double clicking on them from Windows.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Right click over your Excel and Word icons and select 'Properties' from the
drop down menu. About halfway down the dialogue box look for 'Run'. From the
drop down choose 'Maximized' and then click 'Apply'. Both applications should
now open as maximized Windows.
