Default View the latest files used in Excel

Hi!
I had to reinstall Excel and after that i can´t add a number in "View latest
used files" wich can be found in Tools Alternative General. It has been
greyed out. Any ideas?

Could be TweakUI if you have it installed.

Hi again,

The problem is solved. It found the solution in another contribution in this
thread. It worked with Excel 2003 as well, but thanks anyway.

"In the Windows registry, if the value of the NoRecentDocsHistory key in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer\ is set to binary 01 00 00 00, then change the value to binary 00 00 00 00."

You would have found that Registry change at the URL I posted.
