Default Template

rookie1,
Yes.....
Open a new workbook, make all the changes to the workbook that you
want, format, column width, row height, yada, yada, yada.
When it is just the way you want it. Select File, Save As, Give it a name
you will remember. In the same window, see "Save as type:" scroll down to
"Template".
The file will be have the name you gave it and a file extention xlt, instead
of xls.
From here on out, Open the file.xlt and save as change to xls.

Is there a way to have a default set up, like every worksheet always being
set up in landscape and having wide columns and grid lines showing without
making these adjustments everytime I create a new worksheet?
