Default Excel Tool Bars

Lately, when I open Excel, the top Excel name bar and the bottom tool bar are
not on the screen. It appears that the worksheet is too large to be contained
on the screen.

Default Excel Tool Bars

Hi Bailey,
Can't tell from your description, so just trying to grasp at straws..

-- are the toolbars floating, if so drag to correct position so the become docked
Applies to toolbars but not the name box and address bar.
-- do you have problems in other applications, i.e. Display settings, screen resolutions
-- is the zoom control at 100%
-- What happens in Full Screen mode and in restore (buttons upper right corner)
for both the window and for the worksheet. Normally the worksheet is maximized
within the Excel Window.
-- View menu, normal

The top Excel name bar is totally off the screen with only a a blue line
showing. The lower toolbar with drawing aids shows about half of the bar.
They are too far off to click and drag them back onto the screen.

If it is a matter of not being able to resize the window or drag the window into
position try Alt+SpaceBar which will allow you to move and resize the window.
Though if you can see a blue line from the bottom of the Title bar would think you
could drag that down.

Are you icons the same size as before, if not possibly you changed
your screen resolution in the Control Panel, Display settings.

McRitchie,
The alt-toolbar key stroke did not seem to work at first, but I see tht the
problem has gone away for now. Thanks for the assistance.
