set print area icon in Excel
The "set print area" icon has been eliminated in Excel 2003. It was an
excellent feature and should be returned. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. set print area icon in Excel
You sure it was in earlier versions -- right out of the box?
But you can add it to your favorite toolbar: tools|Customize|commands tab|File category scroll down the commands list looking for Set Print Area and drag it to where you want it. I thought I did that with earlier versions, too--but my memory ain't what it used to be! Mark W. Holiday wrote: The "set print area" icon has been eliminated in Excel 2003. set print area icon in Excel
Your memory serves you pretty well, I just checked all versions from Excel
95 to Excel 12 beta and 12 is the only one that comes with the icon right out of the box, of course most people will have a hard time to find it at first since there is no fileprint area anymore <bg -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom (No private emails please) "Dave Peterson" wrote in message ...
