Default Which formula???

The outcome of column E is going to differentiate depending on if I use
column C or D. How do I type this formula? Column C is going to add to whats
in column E and column D will subtract from Column E.

Hi

If I understand your problem correctly, in cell F1 enter
=E1+C1-D1

Copy down for as far as you wish.
