HOW DO I OPEN A GFE16.XLS FILE IN EXCEL?
i recently received a e-mail i was expecting. it had a file i had to
download. i am new to working on my computer. i did download the file i went to view it and i was referred to excel. i am told by the sender that it is a spreadsheet. when i went to excel i was lost as to how to findthe file let alone how to open it. please advise if possible |

You say the filename is gfe16.xls, but I doubt it if you cannot find it. How
did you "download" it? Right-click the file icon in the email and choose Save as or Save Target as and put it somewhere you can find it. If it doesn't look like an Excel file, you may need to do this: From Excel, hit File--Open and choose ALL FILES as the files of type.
