Default HOW DO I CALCULATE TIME IN A TIME SHEET FOR EXCEL

I AM TRYING TO CALCULATE THE NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED AND THEN SUBTRACTING THE
HOURS TAKEN FOR LUNCH FOR 1 WEEK. FOR EX

CELL 1
MOND. TUE WED
THUR FRIDA
HR IN 10
HR LUN 1
HR BACK 2
HR OUT 6

WHEN I TRY TO CALCULATE THESE HOURS I GET A WRONG ANSWER. I MIGHT HAVE A
PROBLEM WITH THE FORMULA. I TRIED SWITCHING THE HOURS TO MILITARY TIME AND
STILL DID NOT GET THE ANSWER I WANTED

Default

For each day, use

=(B3-B2)+(B5-B4)

This will return a time amount, so you would need to format the cell, say
B6, as time. If you want decimal hours, multiply by 24.
