automation - import into excel
hello,
i'm trying to find out if there is a way to open an existing spreadsheet and have the columns rearranged automatically. soon i will have to download a .txt file daily, which i need to use in excel the problem is that the .txt file has several columns of data that i don't need and the columns of data that i need is not in the right order. i really do not want to have to sit and rearrange the columns of data that i need every day, so i'm curious if there is something that i could set up, so that when i open the .txt file in excel, i only get the data that i need. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you -- Tracy * * * * * * * * * * |
