Want to put items in drop down box & when select item have the cost come up.
Can create the item box but don't know how to create the cost dropdown box

You will need a table with items in one column and costs for items in
another column.

=VLOOKUP(A1,$F$1:$G$20,2,FALSE) entered in B1

A1 is your dropdown cell.

F is your items

G is your costs.
