Default Linked Spreadsheets

Hi, I have a spreadsheet which is getting large and unweildy. Because a lot
of the standard data is stored in a Data worksheet, I copied it out to
another spreadsheet.

My problem is that for my master sheet to be able to find the data on the
Data sheet, the data sheet needs to be open as well. Is there anye asy way
of either making my master sheet retrieve the data from the data sheet when
it ISN'T open OR to automatically open the data sheet when I open the master
sheet?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike

Open all linked workbooks.
Use File--Save Workspace option to save the open workbooks as a sample.xlw
Opening sample.xlw will open all linked workbooks

Thanks for the suggestion but we use Office 2003 which I don't think has
this function and the Master has to be a template .xlt

Any other ideas?

Thanks very much - found it!

Does this save as a template though?
