Changing Formulas

Right now I have the following

A1 =DATA!A3
B1 =DATA!B3
C1 =IF(DATA!C8=""."".DATA!C8)
D1 =IF(DATA!D8=""."".DATA!D8)

Is there any way to change the formulas in C1 & D1 to read
=IF(DATA!C3""."".DATA!C3) & =IF(DATA!D3=""."".DATA!D3) other than manually
changing them? Thanks in advance for any help!
