Hi,
I work in France, with an AZERTY keyboard, and I use Vista Home, french version, Excel french versions Excel Help (2002, 2003, 2007) says that to display formulas instead of values (and back) I must hit CTR+ ` This second character is what I can get when I hit AltGr+7. But trying to type AltGr + CTRL + 7 or CTRL+AltGr+7 does not do anything. I tried to switch to a QWERTY keyboard (Alt + Shift for 3 seconds), this ` is now where I had the ² character, but CTRL + ² does no good. So back to AZERTY... I know how to make formulas appear (Options...) but a shortcut is much faster. Can anybody help me ? Pingouin |

Hi,
Put the cuscor on the cell and in the formula bar it will show the formula. If you are not able to see the formula bar then go to the menubar (tool bar on the top of the window) Tools|Options|view|click the formula bar check box|Ok Now you can place the cursor on the cell (which has a formula in it) and read / edit the formula in the formula bar. -- _______________________ Click "Yes" if it helps ________ Thanks Suleman Peerzade "Aeronav" wrote: Hi, I work in France, with an AZERTY keyboard, and I use Vista Home, french version, Excel french versions Excel Help (2002, 2003, 2007) says that to display formulas instead of values (and back) I must hit CTR+ ` This second character is what I can get when I hit AltGr+7. Hi,
Sorry, I always look at my formulas in the formula bar, but what I need is the display of all formulas of the sheet simultaneously, which is obtained by using Options / Display / Formulas. With this option, the width of each column is twice the ordinary width, Dates are figured by their serial number, and all cells are left aligned. I need the shortcut for an AZERTY keyboard Pingouin "Suleman Peerzade" a écrit dans le message de ... Hi, Put the cuscor on the cell and in the formula bar it will show the formula. Often it is Ctrl+ whatever is to the left of the 1 (number key)
was that the correct location. I find a lot more use looking at a sample of the actual formulas in use right on the spreadsheet.
