Default percentage something is done based on date

I want to track the number of times I do something each day in excel and get
a running percentage of the success rate. Easy example would be tracking
what percentage of days I work out in the new year. I have the dates set up
for the year, and have columns for things I want to track success rate on,
but am lost after that.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

One way:

B366: = COUNTA(B1:B365)/(TODAY()-DATE(2009,1,0))
