Selection
I select row 10, then I want to select from row 10 to row 250. However, I
don't want to drag my mouse all the way to row 250. Is there a short cut key to do this selection. How something similar about cell A10 to cell A250? Thanks |

Selection
Edit|goto (F5 or ctrl-g)
type: 10:250 hit enter Or type 10:250 in the namebox (to the left of the formula bar) and hit enter. and you could use A10:A250 instead of 10:250. Selection
Lets start simple select cell A10. See where it says A10 up to the left of
the "A" column indicator? That's the name box. To select A10:A250, just type A10:A250 into that name box and press the [Enter] key. If you want to select the entire rows from row 10 to 250, then just type 10:250 into it and hit the [Enter] key. "Richard" wrote: I select row 10, then I want to select from row 10 to row 250. Selection
Depending on what you are going to do after you have selected your range
10:250 you might consider adding a cmd btn with a code behind it, something like this: Sub GrabMyRange() Range("YourStartCell:YourFinishCell").Select Then if you want to copy your selected range Selection.Copy If you want to copy it to a different sheet Sheets("YourOtherSheet").Select Range("PastingPointCell").Select ActiveSheet.Paste End Sub Once you have created you cmd btn and labelled whatever you want to call it R click | Assign Macro | Select your macro | OK HTH Mark |
