Format cells for special characters
I downloaded a "to do List" that has a function whereby entering "a" into the
cell, brings back the checkmark unicode character. How is this set up? |

Format cells for special characters
If the cell is formatted as Marlett font, typing an "a" will enter the
checkmark. InsertSymbol will open a dialog so's you can see a list of fonts, characters and the ascii number for each. Or just StartRun "charmap" to open the Windows CharMap Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Thu, 8 Mar 2007 11:22:27 -0800, Mad Davy Cash <Mad Davy wrote: I downloaded a "to do List" that has a function whereby entering "a" into the cell, brings back the checkmark unicode character.
