Is there a way to do formatting quickly? Or is there a good place to learn
the logic of it? I have a budget spreadsheet that was created somewhere else. It's quite simple, prints on one 8.5 x 11 page, but updating the formatting takes longer than updating the information. It was formatted with vertical lines between the columns and some grayed rows for totals and headings. The border lines don't always show up, and shaded areas (format cells, pattern) sometimes copy and sometimes don't. Thanks. -- ljb |

Help "shortcuts".
Select "keyboard shortcuts" and browse through. There is a section on formatting. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Tue, 13 Feb 2007 18:06:29 -0800, ljb wrote: Is there a way to do formatting quickly?
