Excel is not really designed to have multiple access to the same
workbook. There is a concept of "shared workbook" where multiple users can update the same workbook at about the same time; when a user saves their changes they get to see the changes made by others. There are restrictions on what you can do in a shared workbook and there have been some bugs in this area in the past so I would not recommend their use. If only one machine is updating the information and others are only reading the information then you could use a separate workbook for the readers with cells linked to the master workbook using formulas. New data would not appear immediately - you would have to cause the linked formulas to recalculate. The program within the Office suite that is best suited for multiple access to the same data is Access.
