Hi,
I'm not even sure that this is possible but.................... I have a Mail Merge document that is linked to a Excel sheet. I use this to send emails. My question is whether it is possible to create a hyperlink in an excel cell that opens the mail merge document for that specific record? I then need to edit this document before i send it. I'm using Word/Excel 2000. Thanks for any help, Jeegna |

Hi Jeegna,
Unfortunately, hyperlinking to a specific record would necessitate bookmarking that record, but the mailmerge process necessarily deletes any bookmarks in the document. If you know the exact details of the edit and the edit criteria, and the edit criteria are reflected in your mailmerge data source, you could use field codes in your main mailmerge document to incorporate the edit as part of the merge.
