Every time I paste a link from a source workbook that contains cells with
more than 255 charactors into a new workbook, the link shows all of the text included in the source file. When I close the source file and update the link in the new file the text is truncated. If I re-open the source file and update the link the text re-appears in the linked file. This seems to happen in excel 2003, XP and 2000. Does any one know how to change this behavior or am I stcuk with it.. |
