Default How do I hide a column based on a condition (option not available.

I would like a column to be hidden as long as all the values in the cells are
0. When a formula in one the cells in this column is returning a positive
value I'd like the column to reappear. The conditional formatting does give
me access to protection tab of cell format properties.
Using Excel 2003 SP1.
