How to copy text box from one worksheet to cell
I have a fairly lengthy piece of text that I wrote as a conclusion for an
audit finding on one worksheet, for which I had to create a text box. How do I copy that automatically into another worksheet that keeps track of all conclusions for each of the 84 other worksheets (each corresponding to an audit step)? This is one of two conclusions that is very large. All others are short comments that (obviously) fit well into the cells since they are within the 1024 character limitation. Surely the text will not fit in worksheet "database" (the one that is programmed to keep track of all conclusions written on the other 84 worksheets), again because of the character limitation. Is there a workaround? I am not very proficient at Excel, so responses requiring code might be a little problematic for me. But any help is greatly appreciated because I anticipate running into more of this type of situation as more and more work comes my way. Thanks! |
