Default paste only subtotals, not individual date that makes up subtotal

i only want to copy & paste the subtotals, not the supporting data

select the subtotals copy and paste special as values

where is the subtotal copy?- if i use the regular copy & paste special
-values i still paste all the supporting date not just the subtotal rows

Try hiding the details
then select the range
and then one more step
edit|goto|special|visible cells only

Now do the edit|copy and edit|paste.

Ok Judy, you are coping the entire figures, as the rows are hiding,
try to select the area, press F5 click on the Special botton, select visible
only.
