Default VLOOKUP

I am assuming you could only do a VLOOKUP from a worksheet in the same
workbook... is this correct?

(For example, if my lookup array is updated and the values change, do I need
to replace my old lookup table with the new one or can I link it from outside
the workbook?)

Default VLOOKUP

You can use VLOOKUP with lookup ranges in another workbook, so if you plan to
replace a complete workbook when you get new data for the lookup table it
should work, while you keep the structure of the file (same name of workbook
and worksheets)

Hope this helps,
Miguel.
