Summing where values
HI everyone, I have a range of cells in rows and columns. I want to be able to sum each row between A and E. The thing is that sometimes A,B,C,D or E contains a letter, and this results in #VALUE! result. Is it possible to change the formulae from a simple sum(A1:E2) etc to something which will exclude those cells where the character is a letter and only sum where the character is a number. Thanks for your help Love Amy xx -- AmyTaylor ------------------------------------------------------------------------ AmyTaylor's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=20970 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=544345 |
