Default Sort Problem - Please Hurry!!

Help!!! When I go to sort, using the data toolbar button.
Sort does not light up and is not available. I tried to copy the
columns that I need to sort into another new file and it still will
not
allow me to sort.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong??

Thanks. Hopefully I can have this solved before I go crazy at work
again tomorrow.

Wally
