Default File size xls

Dear all,
Is it usual for excel files to be quite large. I have files with about 8
worksheets. Each worksheet contains data pertaining to 100 students. One
sheet has graphs and there is much linking, vlookuping and calculations going
on in each sheet and amongst sheets. I have also used quite a lot of
colouring for effect. Would this result in a 2MB file?
regards

Probably. In the grand scheme of things, 2MB isn't all that big.

Check you used range: (do this on each sheet)

Thank you for your response. I feel better now that some gremlin is not
generating big files.
