Dear all,
Is it usual for excel files to be quite large. I have files with about 8 worksheets. Each worksheet contains data pertaining to 100 students. One sheet has graphs and there is much linking, vlookuping and calculations going on in each sheet and amongst sheets. I have also used quite a lot of colouring for effect. Would this result in a 2MB file? regards Molly |

Would this result in a 2MB file?
Probably. In the grand scheme of things, 2MB isn't all that big. Check you used range: (do this on each sheet) http://contextures.com/xlfaqApp.html#Unused And check here for ideas on optimization: http://www.decisionmodels.com/ Biff "Molly" wrote in message ... Thank you for your response. I feel better now that some gremlin is not
