Default Pivot needs BOTH cur/cum totals w/out extra cum cols/repeat lines

[Excel 2003] In Pivot Table accounting rollforwards need to have two totals
-current activity AND cumulative activity (account balance).
Can add a second total, BUT doubles all detail lines-one for both the cur &
cum. Can add a column for period and use "running total" (like for YTDQtr),
BUT doubles period columns-one for both cur & cum for every period with $ on
each detail line
If have: Jan Feb Mar YTDQ1 Apr May Jun
YTDQ2 etc...
Detail1 100 100 100 300 100 100
100 600
Detail2 200 200 200 600 200 200
200 1200
Total Mo 300 300 300 900 300 300
300 1800
Need: Cum/Bal 300 600 900 900 1200 1500 1800
1800
