I am trying to create a formula that will reference other sheets within my
spreadsheet and maintain this reference even if I sort the data or move the cell that I am referencing. I tried using the absolute functions, but that did not work. This is an example of my function. =Appleton!B2+'Oshkosh S'!B2+'Oshkosh N'!B2+Chatfield!B2 |

Hi
formula references are 'linked' to a cell and not to the content. So sorting will not change the cell references. Depending on your data you may be able to use VLOOKUP.
