Default COUNTIF MEETING TWO CRITERIA eg>5 AND <10.1

I have a range of values. I wish to count the number of values in this row
that are between 5 and 10.1.

How do I do this?

John

=COUNTIF(A1:T1,"5")-COUNTIF(A1:T1,"10.09999") for a range.

OR

=COUNTIF(1:1,"5")-COUNTIF(1:1,"10.09999") for entire row.
