Default Dynamic Ranges and Lists

Hi

I am trying to set up lists with sub lists using data validation. In
column A you will choose from a list, the options to choose from in
column B will be dependant on the choice in column A. Each option in
column A has an associated named range with the 'sub options'.

When using a static named range I was able to use the the following
formula as data validation =indirect(A1). However when I convereted
the named range to a dynamic range the data validation produced an
error.

Help!
