Default List Validation Improvement Suggestions

Hi,
I use the excellent list validation feature in Excel very often and in my
experience the single most convenient improvement for it would be
autocompletion. It would save me from scrolling through a list of 1500
records in a box that's only 8 lines high.

While we're on the subject, how about allowing us to control the length of
the drop-down list, and choose the font and background color, too? All in the
name of an efficient UI, of course.

Thanks for your time,

H
